What is Soapbox?
Soapbox is an interactive way to bring a life-size 3D hologram of your favorite artist right into your living room (or anywhere else!) via the Meta Quest headsets.
Why is Soapbox important?
Soapbox offers a whole new way for artists to connect with fans in an unprecedented close and intimate way. Soapbox content is a true historical archive of artists and their techniques that is valuable both now and far into the future.
Are the holograms created with AI or CGI?
No, the holograms are actual performances that were filmed in 3D.
What devices are compatible with Soapbox's AR/VR platform?
Soapbox currently supports Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest 3s. We are currently expanding to new devices, if there is one you would like us to adapt to please let us know!
What is the cost of Soapbox?
It is currently completely free to open a Soapbox account and explore a library of content. One-off download purchases have been made available for premier releases, with many more coming soon!
What will I get with a Soapbox Subscription?
A Soapbox subscription will give you full access to an ever growing catalog of artist performances, interviews, and other demonstrations that can be viewed in life-size hologram format right in your home.
What is the difference between Soapbox Commercial and Soapbox Education?
The Soapbox commercial app includes a wide variety of content intended for all ages and demographics. Soapbox Education is a platform that includes performances, in-depth interviews, and demonstrations that have been exclusively curated for educational use. A subscription to Soapbox Education also includes a complete catalog of in depth artist curriculums that meet US Common Core Standards, National Core Arts Standards, and National Association of Music Educator Standards.
